The Print Center focuses on teaching critical thinking skills alongside technical printmaking skills. This empowers students to explore their thoughts and feelings and then express them by using their new printmaking skills. Notice how The Print Center’s curricula feature lessons about artists who reflect the identity of their students. Having students' identities represented in the artist examples shown is important to empowering free creation and expression in the classroom.
