“The opportunity to share ideas and converse on best practices to create a better arts education program is an important step in providing the resources of arts education in schools and the general community. The programs included in this pool of organizations are diverse, each bringing a set of philosophies and experience in cultivating arts education in the city.

The relationship between the students and the art is an opportunity for the students to build a foundational curiosity. We note that our students do not have equitable access to create art or even have the freedom to explore. “How better to provide for and engage our students in the arts” is at the forefront of our observations.”
